Is Paris really the most romantic place on Earth?

Paris as a city is gorgeous. The architecture, parks and cafe's make it a great destination for couples. I went there when I was younger and so I didn't really appreciate all that the city had to offer, however I would love to go back and i'm sure I will.

Its funny because I don't think of places as romantic or fun places I always think any place can be these if you are with the right person, so I guess it all depends if you have a person that does that special thing for you and that can happen anywhere...it whom you are with that counts....

Definitely not. Yes de Louve and the Eiffel Tower are worth seeing, but Americans are often treated poorly there and everything is really expensive. It can be beautiful, but you need a lot of money to really enjoy it. I can think of many places I have been that are much more romantic.

Well I am a Brit and I found the French people to be just fine. It helps to speak a little French as in France (and most other non-English speaking countries)people were delighted that I tried to converse with them in their own language rather than talking to them in very loud, very slow English!

I've never been Paris. But I'm always told that it's the most romantic place in the world. I wish I have ever been there. It's only a dream, I think. 'cause it's so difficult for a Chinese girl to go abroad. It's not easy either if you haven't got much money. I also hear that Paris is a very expensive city to live in.
