The first argument is the most crucial arguement you will ever have, setting the stage for all arguments to follow.Future conflicts will often look and sound like they're different, but most times they are simply variations of the first, unresolved argument.Understanding that the first argument is a tool for healing, rather than just a random conflict, can spare yourself years of grief, hopelessness and helplessness in your relationship. 1.Get to the Core 2.Strive for Clarity 3.Solve Big Ones Before Small Ones 4.Be"Current" 5.Repair it Now

Hi, Most of the cases conflicts and arguments arise out of MISMATCH of VALUES. Best of to resolve that is to discuss threadbeare, with the intention of reaching WIN-WIN situation. Once solved and agreed upon, the root problem will not re-appear. Branches may be tackled (in future)with little patience, love and sacrifice outlook. Afterall RELATIONSHIP is the 'core-value'! =Lahiri,Kolkata,India.

Yes, if we can check up our first argument and could control ourselves while we are about to argue, things will not go from bad to worse. Actually, you have given some good suggestions and if both the partners implement the same, life could be happier.

Hello baixiaole! This one is a very good advice for settling arguments. I agree with you, the first argument is very hard. We had it too and it's because of my nonsense jealousy..hehhee..
