love marriage or arrange marriage

Totally agree. A Marriage made from Love is far better than a Marriage that is arranged as it gives you a chance to know each other better before you ever even take that step in marriage. It also lets you know that is the person you want to be with hopefully the rest of your life. With an arranged Marriage, what if it is someone you are not compatable with, or just together because of convienence or because someone else set it up? You would not be Happy and always wondering what if.

i favor marriages motivated by love...though some arranged marriages work, i won't subject myself to such an ordeal...hehe...

I Think both types and marriages are wonderful for the right types of people. Some people just are not very good with choosing out of love, and would feel better with an arranged marriage, or they are not mentally Capable of handling it as well, Arranged marriages are also shown to last longer because the families both approve of it before hand, and there is more love and support from the family lines backing it as opposed with the love marriages there are many many questions about Is so and so going to like me or not? ... etc.. Both types are good for the right people the right cultures and traditions. I would probably be the type who would do better in an arranged marriages becuase with a love choosing I get to a certain point where I'd be the runaway... at the pulprit out of fear... Not fear of commitment but fear of messing up and hurting the one I loved... It really varies. Both are wonderful as long as forced. I am totally againsted forced Arranged marriages. - DNatureofDTrain

mine was a love marrage but i know some who have arranged and that works out just as good.
