What is it in an avatar?

Avatar is your trademark. It can make you or break you in your popularity count in mylot. I am very impressed with some of the avatars here be it artist impression or real pictures of the owners. Looking at them makes me want to check on their profiles and dwell further into their discussions. Putting up catchy avatars is the first step in drawing people to your discussions and request for friendships as the first impression counts a lot. By looking at the avatars it gives out a thousand unspoken words on your characters and personalities and on your intelligence. I am of the opinion that if you put something beautiful to represent yourself here you have an intellectual mind to present in your discussions to the viewers. I have no doubt about it as many who are able to draw my attention by looking at their avatars does have something great in their writings. Again it depends on individual to think that avatars are only pictures and does not really represent the owners? What is your views on this?

Never never never thought of that before. I didn't make my avtar because it resembles my thoughts it is just because I like this picture a lot! I always wanted to make an eye catcher avtar but couldn't come up with someone but this beautiful angel who is asking you to spend the night together. So, did it say something about my nature of thinking?
I like your avtar very much. A b&w with hidden eyes beneath a hat. Not to mention that the girl herself looks like a super model. Who this girl is?

You have a nice avatar there but my only complain is that it is not very clear and can't figure out the picture well. The colours are attractive. Maybe it can say a lot about your colourful life and your intelligent mind. I like my avatar as it shows a calm woman and the color is what attract me most. Black is always beautiful. I got it from the net and do not know exactly who this model is.

I also found this pic on net too and it is a little dark than usual and I can't read the words too but when you see my profile then you will come to know what exactly my picture is. It is like asking people to visit my profile more than often!
So, you are saying that black is your fav color?

i didnot give much thought while selecting my avatar,i love babies and their innocence is worth-watching in todays world of treachery and deceit every where.hence i chose my avatar though i have to confess that some of the avatars look offensive to me too.

I made my avatar to match my username, after I made mine, I don't think I would like to change it now, every time I see it, I feel happy.
So what do you think when you see my avatar?
Some of mylotters guess I am a young girl, but the case is I am not.
The avatar usually shows something unspoken, while sometimes is not.
I think the discussion posted or responses replied would show much more than the avatar does.

Nice avatar, very colorful and catchy. Sometimes people are impressed with avatars and that draws them to response. Fist impression counts a lot and that can tell the people who chose the right avatars that represent them.

It sure makes sense,, its like`when u are buying a pair of shoes ,,some clothes, etc ,whatever,,the name of the brand says it all,,and u decide from there If u wish to make the purchase or not,,
