I need to be more careful!

Last night I laid on the Couch, slept there all night and forgot to lock my Kitchen door,anyone could of walked in, I have did that a few times luckily no one never tried to open my door, I just thought that was kind of scarey. God was with me. have you ever did this one time or another?

No I have never done that as I need to have everything closed up to set my alarm system.

I guess it depends on were you live. I used to own a home in a small village in central Massachusetts. Everyone knew everyone. The day I bought the house, I hung the house keys on they keyrack, and they weren't touched again until I sold the house 5 years later. Where I live now, I'm more careful to lock up, just in case. I'm glad you were safe last night, and here today.

Yes be more careful next time Marcia.I have left my keys in the door before.When my daughter came home from school she got them out for me and told me they were there.Thats a scary feeling to.

A Couch is like a Sofa, my kitchen is right next to my living room, I guess you nhaven't heard of a living room either, it is like the main room in your house.

I get a little freaked out when I realize that the door wasn't locked before we went to bed. There was a time when I slept with the doors open (with the screen doors closed though so the bugs wouldn't get in). Times have changed.

that just happened to me, I fell asleep after not being able to sleep all night and my aunt came right into my bedroom to wake me up, she just walked through the door. What scared me was that she said she ran the bell, first and I didn't even hear that.

thank god nothing happen to you.
Maybe you were tired that you forget to lock the kitchen door.
Next time before you sit on the couch you may lock first the door.

There have been times that I have forgotten to lock my bedroom door and people who lived with me or relatives have walked right in. But I do not remember ever forgetting to lock an outside door. That is very frightening. Be careful that you do not do that any more. But like you said, God was with you.
