Lastnight my cousin won another fight. I think all my worrying may have been for nothing. He's won all of them so far. The fight is not yet available to see online or to purchase on DVD but the stats are available at the following links for his last 2 fights. (THESE ARE NOT REFERRAL LINKS) http://www.nafightleague.com/fightcard_2.html, He won Match 14, lastnight (March 27, 2009) in 26 seconds. http://www.nafightleague.com/news.html, He won Match 4 on January 30, 2009. I'm waiting for an email from him to get more updates. I'm also waiting for the videos to be available online or to purchase. I don't necessarily want to watch them but he is my favorite relative of all time so I feel like I have too. I atleast want to own them for when he becomes famous. The photo is of him after winning his fight lastnight. Sorry for the poor quality. It was taken with my aunts cellphone, then forwarded to my mom's phone, then to mine and then to my email. Should I still be worrying about him or just be proud of how well he's doing?

Congratulations to your Cousin camomom! I'm sure that there aren't many of us that could help BUT worry, but he's a big boy and he certainly wouldn't be winning fights in 26 seconds if he wasn't damn good at what he does! I would definitely be focusing more on the pride angle for now 'cos it's unlikely he's going to stop anytime soon with a record like this!

That's kinda what I'm thinking. I was SO worried when I found out that he was going to do this but seeing as how he's won so far, I have to stop worrying and just be proud of him. He knew he could do it, I should have trusted that he knew what he was doing. Thanks James.

It seems like he is doing really, really well. He just might become famous yet. But I don't blame you for still being worried about him, it is still a dangerous sport, but it seems he is really good at it, so hopefully he knows how to keep himself safe.

I'm very proud of him but it still scares me that he could get hurt. I don't think that he'll take undue risks. He's pretty smart about these things. Thanks for your support.

That is great. It's okay to be worried, and okay to be proud. He is excelling at something, so I probably would go around bragging myself. But that's just me. It would be cool if he climbed the ranks and got to be famous. Then we could say we know you, who is related to him...

You'll probably always worry about him no matter what he is doing. We always worry about the ones we care for. I don't watch the UFC fights. My husband does but it isn't something I can get into. I hope my boys don't choose to do something like that, but if they do I'll support them and be proud. It is awesome that he has your support.

Thank you. I do worry about everyone in my family all the time. I can't get into any kind of fights. Surprisingly, my aunt goes to the fights and is very happy and proud of him. His dad passed away before he started this path so I don't know how he felt about it or if he even knew about it.

i am sure that you are very proud of him honey and that is as it should be but I am also sure that most of us would be worried about anyone we cared about being in a boxing match. My brother was badly beaten in his first big fight years ago and my sis in law wouldn't let him fight again! lol Seriously though that is not the way to look at it. He is an adult he has found something he is good at and knows the risks he is taking. If I were you I would try to put the worry to one side as it doesn't sound as though he is going to be giving up anytime soon! lol Hugs xxx

I agree. I just hope he won't get seriously injured. It seems as though he's pretty good at it so I shouldn't worry so much. Thanks for the support.

My husband is great fun ufc. I used to watched UFC during the time of Gracie but now, I don't watch it anymore. He watched the different fights in Youtube and he enjoys watching it. I will giving him this link so he can watch your cousin.

You love your cousin and fighting often results in someone being injured, hopefully not your cousin. If he's injured, hope it's always minor. He enjoys the so-called sport, so be proud of how well he's doing. Worry comes with the territory. One of my male relatives used to drive stock cars in races. His wife constantly worried about his well-being and was also proud of his racing skills.

I'll always worry but I am SO proud of him. I'm not sure that I want to watch it though. He got a black eye in his January fight and he was so proud of it. I guess it's a guy thing. It was his war wound but he was proud because he still won and ONLY got a black eye.
