interesting topic.
I know superstitions have no basis on objective reality.
Perhaps the real gray area is the subjective effect on people - negative and positive.
I recommend that everyone drop all negative effects and focus on the positive effects e.g. hope, enthusiasm, motivation.
There is a saying: "if it helps us go the extra mile and achieve what is otherwise not attainable, why not? (believe in superstitions)"
Cheers

Believe is not really the word. Though being born and brought up in Canada, I was superstitious. I think in being afraid of these things you tend to make it happen.
Like once I was driving, and I saw a black cat walk across the road in front of me.
I told myself not to act stupid and drive. (Before then I usually would turn around, hahaha) I stopped the bus, and walked towards the back and heard a sizing sound. There was a big nail stuck in the tire!
I don't want to believe in it, but somehow I still do. hahaha!!!
As for sodiac? Yes some things are true. The stars have even been used in the Bible.
I don't go as far as to believe everything, but the basic's seem pretty clear to me.
Though I beleive that everyone has his/her own personality outside of what the stars say. We still have a choice to what we are and want to become.
Take care, have a nice day

even though there's no evidence behind it, i can't hinder myself from not following these beliefs. Perhaps, it is a product of your environment or society's beliefs
