I Need Technical Help For Blogger

Hi myLot..ters. I am developing a blog using google's free blogger. I chose to start with this one, because it is free and I have really no idea what I am doing...lol. Put it this way, I know how to use a computer, I can surf the net, download, upload, send emails and such....but, when it comes to the backend of programming, forget it...I'm lost. Anyways, I'm looking to add background music, I've tried to following directions that I found surfing the net, but it doesn't work. I also am confused about the RSS Feed. I did sign up for a google adsense account and there are ads posted. I don't think I've earned any money, because I didn't publish anything yet. Bottom line is, my blog is focused on work from home jobs....not business opportunities. Everything I've done so far is saved in a draft. I've put a lot of research into this and I still continue with my research. I believe I am at a point where I want to soon start publishing, but I know I need to look at different ways to drive traffic to my blog, but I'm stuck. I'm not sure what to do, how to do it, and everything else. I don't want to pay for anything, there is a lot of free routes to go to get started, it's just not knowing how to incorporate everything.
