What do you think should happen to parents who murder their own children?

Do you think its right that they always plea "insanity"? What form of punishment should they get? I believe they need to be sentenced to death for murdering a gift from God.

They should be shot and dumped in a ditch. We should not even be wasting tax dollars keeping them alive in prison. The insanity plea is a bunch of crap, or course your insane, who the hell else would do something like that. Kill them, they cannot be rehabilitated i don't care what anyone says.

I know everyone says God forgives everyone for their mistakes. But how can killing your offspring be a mistake? You can't say "I accidentaly held their head under water until they stopped breathing." + rating for you

queen- in Pennsylvania a mother left her 10 month old little boy in the tub while the water was running and she was talking on the phone. Went down to the basement and "forgot" about him. Went running upstairs and then found his little lifeless body. I don't understand how people can be so preoccupied with something else when they know that that is one of the most dangerous things you can do to a child. (leaving them alone in the bathtub.. or any water for that matter)

I believe in an eye for an eye... But usually in those cases...the im\nmates look down on people who are in jail for child abuse or murder of a child...they are locked up for other reasons but they have children that they miss and don't take to kindly to that sort.

Great point then they should be sentenced too life in prison with the hopes that they get a cell mate that tortures them as much as possible. +rating for you.

Babies are precious and a gift from God. Not everyone recieves that gift. Too bad that the ones who would really make awsome parents sometimes can't have kids. + rating for you

I agree with you, there are so many people that prays to get a child, a blessed child, so this killer parents plea to insanity because they are maniacs. I just can not forgive any of them.

Obviously in USA that is not an option. To find the peple that would be willing to drown other people or cut limbs off other people and let them bleed out would be disturbing.I wouldn't wnat to be in the same room with anyone who would "like" to do that. + rating for you
