I definitely prefer paypal, I think it is the greatest thing that happened to me lol, I am disabled and having to go to the bank to cash a cheque is just too hard on me especially in the winter.

In normal day to day life, I prefer cheques because I can put them into the bank and withdraw the money within a couple of days, but for my online work, I prefer Paypal, and that is because I live in Europe and use Euros, but most of the online world is in Dollars, so if I receive a check in dollars it costs a lot to put it into my bank account and convert it to Euros.
Whereas in PayPal, I have an account in Euros and in Dollars, and it makes it easier to transfer without the large transaction fees and lost time.

I prefer to receive payments via Paypal because it's quick and secure. I've had trouble in the past with paper checks getting to me by post, either getting lost in the mail or taking months to get to me. With paypal, not only do I avoid those problems, but it's a good way to eliminate paper waste, as well! It would be nice if all online earning sites used Paypal.

I think both ways are very nice... since the money is yours once you get it.. but I was just thinking which way I will prefer.... hmmmm, I will have to start getting some more money both ways and then I will get back with you!!!

Yes its nice when you get it both ways. I get the paypal all month and then the checks come mid to late month like a savings.

I do like both ways as well, who doesn't like going to the mail box and getting a check... whoo hoo! But I like pay pal as well because it's faster and it's right there if you need it right away, you don't have to wait to go to the bank, and make sure it's deposited before you use it.

Thats why I like to get some through paypal for the money you need right away and the checks for when another day.

personally I prefer cheques as I get alot of cheques from the usa, and takes about 6 weeks to clear.
So I forget about the cheque and get a nice surprise when it clears in my business account.
If it goes to paypal it just gets spent far too quickly.

I rather get Paypal as I can then use that money to buy or get something else. Getting paid by cheque is a big problem for me, as banks charge a fortune for the fact that it is a cheque and another fortune for the currency exchange, especially if the money is in US dollars, as we have Euro here now.

I do not like getting any checks through the mail service. They take too long or could get stolen. I prefer direct deposit for large amounts or PayPal for small sums of money.

I really love the idea of Paypal. A check through the post means that I have to go out to the bank. The Internet has made things so much easier, but of course we have to be vigilant and make sure our anti-virus software and passwords are kept safe. - Derek

Of the two, I prefer Paypal as it's how I'm used to earning online. Cheques are fine but they tend to take longer to reach me as most are from afar (usually the US).
Saying that though, my Paypal payment takes a week for it to hit by bank account so it's not that instant either.

Hi mm (sorry for the shortcut),
This is my first time to have a way of earning online and my first time to have a paypal account, too...
For your question, I think I prefer to get my payments through paypal because mails here mostly get lost especially if they contain money or cheques. I don't want to put my country's national post office ethics down but lots of people lose mails that contain these items. I did many times even greeting cards that don't contain any valuable items lol... My bf sent a birthday gift for me two years ago ($100) through the mail. I didn't receive it which is kinda bad. He knows I won't accept money or such from him so he made it like a surprise and surprise surprise I didn't get it . he kept on asking if I had received a letter and I said no, for a month lol. but he eventually told me what's in that mail... I guess a postman had detected that it has a dollar bill there and took it ... A lesson learned there...lol
So for me it's better to go through electronic payments rather than being sent through the mail for security purposes and to avoid these kinds of incidents lol...

Paypal. I am all about the electronic funds...I get my paychecks done electronically too and so I rarely see money. If I see money I am getting and not seeing the money that I am spending (by debit) I will think I have more than I am spending which could turn out terrible for me. If everything electronic all the time I am forced to keep an eye out on all my spending/recieving which is better than just the recieving.

Personally, I have always preferred Paypal for the reasons everyone has mentioned: it just makes the process so much quicker, so your profits/money adds up a lot faster. It's not that I'm one of those people who can't wait to spend it (in fact, in many ways, I am a compulsive saver), but I just like getting paid as soon as possible because that tells me that the service paying me is a reliable one and I don't have to worry about checks getting lost in the mail, or not getting paid at all if the process seems to be taking too long. You also don't have to make special trips to the bank to put the money in your account. So Paypal clearly has its benefits in that regard.
I like checks as well; I just prefer electronic transfer.

I prefer PayPal to checks, but at this point I really don't care which just so I get the pay. I have only one that I have gotten paid by check so far. I have a few more that I haven't reached pay out yet. I have reached payout each month with my Pay Pal sites.

I would definitely prefer Paypal because of its security and convenience. I don't have to disclose every single personal information just to get my money. And it makes online money making organized. Of course we earn from a lot of different websites. So it's kinda confusing if you'd get all your earnings from tons of different checks to be mailed at your home. If it's paypal, you'll just get them all at once and you have the option to withdraw the money anytime you want.
