life with out news

At work or at home we have a lot of news on, usually CNN. But today we got outside to work in the garden and there was no news. The world went on it's merry way without our knowledge of each little problem or even big problem. It was wonderful, all there was to be concerned about was what plants we were going to put where. In the loud, hurry up world we forget how wonderful a slower life style can be. Hope you can enjoy some of this also.

good post - i will be feeling very bad iand i have a great nature of praying for the people who have been falling in the hell activities that prevails in this world
soory i cant get u not me only know body in the world ca bee without the news cahnnel and i will be very bad and rome around if there was no news and will be in the heaven in time of making a news channel for you to transmit all the news channel

You go to a remote area where no TV,no Radio and even no News paper.You will be there in heavenly peace.There are no news of killing,starvation,war or crime.There you will enjoy songs of birds,blue sky and vast green fields and calm stream.There are many such places.But we don't go there.

Pat, you have such a lovely soul! I sort of envy you, too. It's in the upper 80s here, so being outside is pretty difficult. What on earth did we spoiled brats do when we didn't have air conditioning? I think I'll do some quiet gardening tomorrow, no matter how hot it is. It's just too joyous to miss!

Hey pat! Isn't it nice to be able to forget all about everything that is going on in the world even if it is just for a little while! I love that feeling too! I have no problem being away from the tv, radio or the computer just to be free of that feeling of being tied down to the horrors going on around me! I love the freedom of being outside with no other cares except the sounds of nature surrounding me! I hope you enjoyed your day!

I tend to stay away from the news as the media seems to sensationalise every thing. The 24 hour rolling news channels are the worst, recycling the same story over and over again. Sometimes I am happier in my ignorant bliss

I couldn't imagine not being able to hear or watch or see the news. I watch the news or listen to it as much as I can. I think it is a very important part of our day and lives. I like to keep up with current events and local news and know whats going on in the world. Life would be so different with out it not being able to know anything that is going on.

since we donot have a t.v,we are usually updated the next morning through news papers about the happenings of the previous day.it has its advantages as well as disadvantages.

I do not care about the news as I do not interested in its.Maybe it is a bad custom.One day some people ask me that who is XXX? I do not know what he said and then I found that i am poor on the news.The knowledge is very poor and difficult to communicate with the people,so now I will read the world news.

I avoided watching or listening to the news for a very long time i found it too depressing with all the violence and crime in the world i grew tired of hearing about it.i found myself more relaxed.
