A long time ago, well not so long, there was little choice for online payments with E-Gold, PayPal and Moneybookers.
Nowadays, there seems to be a new one every month starting up, off the top of my head we now also have AlertPay, Liberty Reserve, EvoWallet, SolidTrust etc, I have probarly missed a few as well.
But is there any need for all these as it isn't easy to move money between them like traditional banks, and how Safe and Trustworthy are they all.
What's your opinion and rating of them all, and who do you prefer ?

I just use Paypal, its been there a long time ago. Credibility matters.

I have always used Paypal for my online payments. I have tried Egold but I do not like them. I do not like the fees associated with the other ones either.

Thanks stephcjh for your reply, out of all the online processors I prefer PayPal, they seem a lot more trustworthy than the others.

I like to use Paypal and Alertpay as its good and really trusted
I have heard of the other payment processors but I don't have any idea about it.

Thanks sophie for your reply, like you at the moment I am sticking with just PayPal and Alertpay as these satisfy my needs so although I have heard of the others I don't know if I need them and if they can be trusted.

I am a member of PayPal and AlertPay and all transactions conducted through these two online payment processors were fast and very efficient. I don't think I will ever subscribe to any other online processor as these two are credibility enough for me and accepted at most sites.
Cheers,

Thanks cest_moi for your reply, like you I am not tempted to join any more at the moment, as I seem to be fairly well covered with these two, Paypal and Alert Pay, it is just a shame that this isn't properly regulated and it is easy to transfer between different processors like it is between the banks.
