It's been a long time since we've washed our cars by hand, we usually just take ours to the local spray and wash, insert a few quarters and wash it that way, then drive over to the trash can's and vacums and do everything right up town. Their vacums have more sucking power than mine at home, and it's alot faster than doing it by hand at home.

No, i don't... I just let the car wash do it.. i don't have the patience to clean the car(vaccum the carpet, wash the exterior, the wheels, etc).. the car wash service is very affordable here in the Philippines..

I don't wash my own car myself my fiance washes the car for me. He does the interior and vacuum at the local car wash then he either comes home and washes it or does it at the car wash. There are times when its cold outside that he just takes the car to get washed.

I do it myself - inside and out because honestly I'm much too cheap to pay the prices an auto detailer asks for cleaning cars around here. Sometimes when my kid sister is wanting money for something and shes a little bit short I'll pay her five dollars to do the inside of the car and five to do the outside. Otherwise i enjoy cleaning my car myself.

I always help my husband clean his car... when its a nice sunny day we clean the car... way way cheaper than a car wash.. my husband even do the oil change himself... oil change is usually 60$ in the store... but when my husband does it by himself it cost him less than half of what he pays in the store...

The large majority of the time I take it to be washed or I go through a drive thru at a gas station that gives a free carwash with fill up. But I only go through the drive thru car washes that do not have the things that touch the car. I had a side mirror break off a car because of one of those car washes. So, I stick to the no touch ones only.
I have someone else do it, because partly I do not like going through the trouble of vacuuming the inside. I usually do it in the middle of the day, between work, and it is very quick. Also, there are these guys that have a mobile carwash business and do the cars inside and out and do a great job. You can't beat when they come to you and charge about the same. I don't have much time to do it at home, since my time off isn't much. So, when I have time off I like to do other things.
And definately in the winter I do not want to wash the car myself, but sometimes in the summer it is fun and a nice way to cool off.

We usually wash our cars at home. Once in a great while we'll go to one of those "do it yourself" car wash places. We rarely go to a car wash and have it done. In fact, we haven't gone through a car wash in about 5 years now!

I usually wash my dad's car once a week in the summer. The car get's pretty dirty during the week because we travel a lot so the car always needs a car wash. When were on the road though we just prefer using the car wash do it.
