There are days, I just sit and wonder what it is I was put here to do. There are many things that I would LIKE to do but don't have the financial access, time, or whatnot. Then I see what I could have done in my past to change what I could have had now and see what I have now......
I see many my age with their degrees, house, cars, family, etc...and then I see myself.....on the bottom.......
Does anyone else feel like their in the same situation?

I'm 75, I've worked all my life and enjoyed it all. There were times when I was disappointed, but over all its been a Great experience. I own 2 houses now, One in Ontario cCnada where I live and work in the summer, and one in South Texas where I live and play all winter. Yes I have is nice now, but I didn't get where I am today by sitting down and wondering. Try getting up and working instead, and see how much more enjoyable life will Be.

Same here. Most of my friends have wonderful career and they'rea abroad looking for greener pasture. While I'm a mother, unemployed and undergrad. I feel so depressed sometimes that I have to spend my life living like this.
But, what I've realized is we always have a choice. We can do something about it. It's never too late to change anything. To go after our dreams. We have to work to achieve our goals. I won't allow myself to grow old and look back with a lot of regrets. That would be very bitter and unacceptable for me. A lot of people have given up on me but I won't give up on me.
C'mon, we can do it. We'll stop whining about what should have been because there's so much potential in us that has to find an outlet. If others are enjoying the things that we only dream about then there's no doubt that we, too, can achieve it. We have to have faith and hard work. Start small. This is not a race after all...Good luck!
