Another idiotic governing body at work

For those of you who do not know from some of my other posts I am as US citizen, my husband is British and I am in Sheffield UK at present working on getting my husband a residents visa for the US so we can both stay in the USA permanently. I picked up the local newspaper on Friday and what I read disgusted me no end. Sheffield seems to be the dropping off point for people who cannot or will not continue to remain in their own country. There are hundreds of Somalis living in Sheffield - a lot are in the neighborhood where my husband lives. They came here as refugees from their own country, moved into new houses built for them and provided for them by the Sheffield Council. They all sem to have a brand new car every year but do not work for a living. The article I read in the paper said that these Somalis are complaining that they can't get TV from their homeland and in their language so the idiotic Sheffield Council is seriously thinking of spending £7 million ( approximately $9,800,000) to put up satelite dishes on every council home inhabited by Somalis so they can get TV etc in their own language. My thoughts are - if they are going to continue living here then LEARN OUR LANGUAGE or go back where you came from. Shortly after I read this I went just around the corner to the local paper shop to get some soda. On my way there I passed some of the houses inhabited by Somali families. There in the parking lot was a brand new red car - getting into it was a Somali woman who just a week before had been driving a fairly new silver colored car. I wanted to scream. One day I was behind this same woman at an ATM. The maximum you can withdraw is £300. She used 5 different cards and from the looks of it drew the maximum off every one of them - and this is money they get given to them. If she did get the maximum from them that was £1,500 more than double what my husband gets monthly in Pension and he has lived and worked here all off his life. In my opinion it is high time this stupidity stopped. It pretty much the same in the USA with Mexican illegals - and lets not forget our Presidents Kenyan aunt who is an illegal in our country and living off welfare.
