it's always been a puzzle to me on what vegetables are put in a salad. it seems that any kind of vegetable would just do. what is the difference between a salad and an array of vegetables thrown in together?

i think the dressing makes the salad. i don't think there is any difference. a salad is a bunch of veggies thrown together. guess they had to name it something. lol

The difference between a salad and an array of vegetables is this: Ripe and choice vegetables. These will give you the best flavor and texture making for a very nice experience. I think if you have the choice array of your favorite vegetables and the best form of dressing you have the best salad has to offer. Flavors all mix nicely and taste is at a premium. Yum!

hi lottto...salad is a very important meal of the day....if u want to make a good salad then add onion, cucumber, raddish, cabbage, tomato, lettuce, broccoli, some boiled corns, pine apple, and some cottage cheese cut into cubes.. cut all the vegetables in 1'inch piece then mix all other things then add olive oil to it as it is very good for body...a pinch of salt, lemon...and now its time to have it ..there is a differnce between salad or arrya of vegetables. in salad u eat raw vegetables but in that u eat cooked vegeatbles so enjoy my lotting
