Hello! This came to me when writing an essay for my religion class. I thought that I know many people who aren't God believers, but they are real nice person with a high moral sense and also I know people who are drunkers and young guys that like to get drunk, but they say that they believe in God.
So, who is better?

I would have to choose a good man who does not believe in God. I can always try to change the way his beliefs are. I know alot of people change once they are taught.

Being nice with a high moral sense = godliness.
So in a way, you've answered your own question. Those people are definitely more sought after than the ones who claim to be theists and yet hurt and harm others.
I personally feel that the goodness that shines through us is a nature of the divine, since He resides inside of us. The ones who harm others and still claim to believe in God also have that divinity inside them. It is just that some dirt and dust has settled on them, not letting their divinity shine through.
Everyone has the capacity within them to cleanse themselves and become better human beings - thus being more godly. Do you agree?
