I actually know a couple first hand that met online, and now they're married. It's possible. As long as you know how to adjust and handle the whole thing.

Your welcome. It's not for everyone and it's quite harder than regular relationships.

It will largely depend upon from person to person. In some of the case it works, however, in majority of the cases, perhaps it does not work. I feel certain limitations and drawbacks remains in the on-line 'affairs', which may be issue to sort out in off line 'affairs'. I know few mylot friends here, who tell that they found their respective partners through on-line method and they could find the match of their choice. (If you feel positive towards it, you may give it a try)

Hello dpk...
I agree with you, it depends on the person, but more often than not, online relationships do not work. Long distance relationships are not easy, but there are people who can really hang on, while others simply let go. Thanks for dropping by.
Have a great day!

Thanks for agreeing with me. I also feel that chances of long distance relationship actually working in real life are less, as compared to real life relationships. However, some succeed in it.

I met my wife 4 years ago online. We were married two years ago. Even though we were in different countries and 2500 miles apart, everything worked out very well and we are extremely happy. I ended up moving to her country and I love it here. Living is less expensive in Canada than it is in the United States and the public transportatiion is free for us because we are both legally blind.

Hi Weng_08, as you have already seen and heard it, you might have your own idea about it. Okay as far as I know, online relationships usually don't taste success. I am not telling that that happens quite often, but it happens to majority. I don't have any experience in online relationship, but have the experience of keeping a relationship and for me there are certain standards that a relationship should keep which can be classified as physical and psychological. Online relationship provides the psychological part, but not the physical part. Most of the people are not just satisfied with the physiological part. There are exceptions.

Hello vindiku.
I guess you are right, more often than not online relationships do not work. I guess it depends on the intensity of feelings and on the intentions. Psychological part of the relationship seems to be more sincere at times, don't you think?
We are sometimes appreciated by people because of our looks, but when we get appreciated because of our wits, then that's something else.
Thanks a lot for your response, have a great day!

it depends on your luck, if your looking for a casual relationship, you get tons of responses, but if your looking for serious relationship you get barely countable with fingers.. but making it really depends on the person and not on the media. If you ask my opinion, its like putting your head in a tiger's mouth..(need to wait and see who plays the tiger role here.. i hope not you)...
