I know some of you(Indians) may have experience the "bad request", error when trying to go to the login page of Ciao.In the begining I thought it was a temproary problem. But already three days over and the proble isnot sorted out.
When I asked some of my friends in U.S (I am in India) they told me they have no such problem, later I came to know that this problem is faced only in India...So I think ciao is banned in India, what do you think about this?

I dont know what's wrong and why they have banned. I think it is advisable to write an email to them and enquire them. So it is advisable not to come into a conclusion so suddenly?

I'm also experiencing the same problem. I can't access my ciao account. If the members not experiencing the same problem that means we from other country only affected by that problem? I hope ciao can fix up the problem soon. Happy mylotting friend.

Ya it would be really wise if they fix the problem, but there are no chance for it because ciao people has did it purposely, its all normal to online earning community.
The worse thing is that they haven't even sent an email to their members regarding this problem.

Hai, this is not only happen in india, but in almost all non USA country. I have same idea with you, i think ciao banned non usa members now. To login actually you have to do some tricks but if ciao really banned non usa members im not sure they will pay you if you request your payment

I don't think so the problem is exclusively for Indians. I am from the Philippines and I am experiencing the same problem too.
However, thanks to a very good member here in myLot who is a member of Ciao, I could now log-in using a backdoor method.
If you are having the same problem, just look for that post here in myLot where the steps are clearly outlined.
I just hope that Ciao will be doing something on this problem. On the other hand, it is also my observations that most of the reviews in Ciao are suffering from low-quality and even unashamed word-for-word copying.
I think Ciao should now start screening the reviews and only the qualified ones should be published.

hi aspnaren
this site has not yet been banned in India but is facing some problems
as you will notice that this site has many non US members as 70-80% of the members are non US and Indians can login on that site but using different login routes
so i think that the login page is damaged
you can login by viewing someone eases profile and using the login on the top
...
i hope this helps if you did not actually figure it out
but most probably many of the Indian accounts have been deleted.
so pls do check that

hi i think its great news that ciao is banned in india. i wonder how many use the products and then write the reviews...well certainly less than 1% real users in ciao community...but indeed its a bad news for the home based money earners here...they have to find another way to get more....

Sad to say but i also signed up for Ciao, but i haven't started my reviews on certain products, and when i logged in, the same error says "Bad request", I'm from Philippines, but i do reside now in India.
It is very frustrating to know that there are lots of good writers from Asian countries and yet because of some people who are taking advantage of the site, all other members will suffer the same consequence.
I think this is really a sad news for people earning on that site. I don't count myself in since i just joined, but sadly, i did not even tried hard for this site, but was will never have the chance too.

I had an account on ciao as had heard a lot about it so wanted to earn through this site but I was always shown surveys and after visiting it I use to get message that I am not qualified for this survey. It happened everytime I tried doing those surveys. i got fed up with thay and now I dont login to ciao anymore. Maybe it is the problem for indians only as others say they do got good payment from this site.

I guess they banned everybody already even I am not from India they banned alread as I am also seeing that error message. Oh well it has been several weeks since I last login there and I am not as active as before. Well I think they would want to have an exclusive site for the US. Sad to know this had to happen.

I am from China and Ciao has the same problem for me. I don't like this rule. As at the beginning this website allows international members. Now they grow and they suddenly have this rule and it's quite unfair for us. If they really ban specific races, then this is a very stupid decision. Only a cheating website will create various kinds of reasons not to pay for you because they run out of money. There are still many honest and good people in China and India and other countries.
I love China

I am from the Philippines and I had a problem logging-on too.
Personally, I think it's one of Ciao's measures to ensure that the people making reviews are good enough to write coherent and well-written reviews. I'm not saying all Indians or any other non-US countries for that matter don't have their share of "good writers". Of course, writing well does not matter if you're an American or not.
But I do understand Ciao's stand on this.
Ciao has been plagued with so much cheating plagiarizers and people who turn in low-quality reviews. It's not far from possible that they have had it with these kinds of people! I cannot blame them if this is the measure they had to take.
My only beef on this "issue" is that where does it leave people like me? I write honestly and I only turn in well-written reviews (if I do say so myself). It's a bit unfair for myself because I've done my part in contributing good reviews and they pay me back with this kind of treatment? It's completely irrational in their part!
