Facebook was born like a very useful application. The idea was to create groups, like your school group, that anybody can send a message like "tomorrow is the test, dont forget to study the pages are this and that", or "i note everyone that tomorrow the maths teacher will not come, so, you can come later", and all that kind of information that attained to a group. Really, it was very useful, but Today, it is not like that anymore, it is a very low site, with... ok, i don't want to talk about Facebook today.

It is a social networking site. You can use it to keep in touch with family and friends or business contacts, whichever you prefer. I have found many friends that I went to school with 25 years ago. Plus, my friends and I plan events together on the site. You can upload photos and videos to your page to share with people as well. If you do sign up, it's free, but make sure you have the strictest privacy settings set up because people are known to surf on there for identity theft purposes. In other words, don't add people as friends that you don't know and only allow your added friends to view your information.
