In the 1980's, the USA supported and armed the tribal chiefs in the Northern Areas of Pakistan, to fight against the then USSR. The riff-raff and criminal elements from all third world countries were welcomed, armed and financially supported by USA. With the collapse of the USSR, America withdrew, leaving behind all the arms and ammunitions, and these uncontrollable criminal element, who have now become a threat for the whole world. Ossama Bin Laden was also the blue-eyed protege' of the USA. These people were hailed as Great Islamic Jihadists, the single most religious fighters who overthrew a Super Power. Now we have different schools of thought here. The first on says that this is not our war, it is the war of the USA, so we should opt out of it. The second school of thought says that they are there to drive out the Americans from Afghanistan, since they are non-muslims.A third says that the funds being given to these terrorists comes from the drug barons, who want an unstable Pakistan to get their drugs to the warmer waters, the Arabian sea. Because of this threat, business' are closing, and people are without money, without jobs, so they join the extremists solely for monetary gains. To join such a group ensures atleast US60 per day, and that means food on the table. The result of all this is unimaginable acts of terrorism in Pakistan itself.Even the politicians and the press are afraid of speaking against them, since they are powerful, and threat individuals with extreme punishments. Swat has been taken over by these religious elements and there are hangings, stoning and nearly 450 girls school have been blown up, since they claim that girls are not to study beyond the 4th class The moderate muslims are shocked and afraid of this, since this wave of Talabanism is spreading. What do you think about this, and do you think there could be one policy, or a multiple blend of policies with which we could stop this terrorist threat? Is there any way we could promote sanity into these individuals that such wanton suicide bombings and killings are not encouraged by any religion.

Oh,oh you did a no, no. We're not supposed to call it war on terror anymore. There are some things that we can do. We can win if we can get enough people to unite and get organized. What Can a Civilian Do To Stop Islam's Relentless Encroachment? http://www.citizenwarrior.com/2008/09/what-can-civilian-really-do.html

Any way that you look at it, they war for power. To rise above another and control them. Then they will claim it is for their god. Wrong, it is because they want to be in control, and make you live how they want you to live. The stupidity behind this thought is endless. They blow up everything that others try to create for the better of humanity. To destroy electrical stations, water facilities, buildings and such only harms their cause. If they wanted to lead then do it by example. Build not destroy, give people a reason to want to live your way, why it is better for them and then they will descide. That however is just not good enough. Do it my way or die.....yeah thats a great reason! Self absorbed twisted idiots! Follow your religion fine but grow with it and share it if you wish, but to force it upon others is no better than society hundreds of years ago.
