Almost all the major religions of the world claim that this world will end one day. Christianity is very clear about the return of Christ, Judaism about the Messiah and Islam about the return of Christ and the arrival of Mahdi.
How many of you think that this current economic turmoil will be the beginning of countdown for the end and we will see more pain and more wars.

Economy can not be said to be the end of the world....at most economy recession or depression what ever you say about it will lead to the change of ideology that the market functions.....and I don't think that there is any relation between economy and religions....I am not degrading any religion as every religion is great in itself...but I must say that you did not named the Hinduism and it did not predict anything like this and I think whatever I learnt about this religion the prediction is exact as said by the old hermits....

No I'm not saying that Economic problem alone will be the cause for the end, but one among the problems that will lead to the end. Because many things that the Bible predicted about the end of the world has already taken place and others are in the process.
