Okay, the title pretty much cover my point, but I'll go on. See, I find that television is nothing more than a distraction.. a way for the people to be entertained so that they won't worry so much about the real issues, like our puppet president, and his federal masters whose orders he carries out without fail. We all gather round the T.V. and watch our favorite programs, not noticing just how much hatred can be spewed through to it's viewers. Cleverly, we're told that we're different.. that we are not the same.. and it works. Nobody wants freedom anymore, nobody misses humanity, no.. not as long as your shows are on tonight, why should you care about the rest of the world? Put your feet up, grab some snacks, and relax.. soon, we'll be taken over, and controlled. You obviously want things to be that way.. or, you wouldn't be watching the idiot box, and listening to it, following it's orders like a puppet. You'd be fighting like us, those who are "knowledgeable". Turn off the television, and think for yourself for a change.

Sounds like you have your head on straight. Sometimes a leave from reality is a good thing and can balance you out.
Tv wants to make money and in many ways doesn't care how. Their reality is whatever gets the ratings.
Books can give you a much needed break on reality or a different outlook on life depending on what type of reading you do.

yeah this is true, and say if someone had some work to do and they turned the television on in the middle of it, they would much rather watch the television than do their work because they get so distracted by programmes that they've been watching for a few weeks.
I personally do like television, but some people do need to get away from it sometimes!
