What do you look for in a friend?

i really dont look for anything in a friend, I meet someone, chat with them and whatever happens happens. I basically work off of first impressions, if I dont like someone when i meet them, we wont be friends, but for the most part when i meet new people we usually hit it off well b/c of my sense of humor.

When it comes to friends this is what I'm looking for; They have to be trusted worthy, have a good sense of humor, pick up on my personality, show respect, be understanding and intelligent! Those things are what I look for in a freind!

Hi GemmaR, gond day to you my co-mylotter. Well, me the friend that i am looking is those true to them self and those happy people. I like those people who are always happy, in order for the friend relationship to be more colorful, and if someone is sad and having a problem there is a friend who will make him/her laugh. As we all know that laughter is the best medicine, so by laughing it can cure the sadness. I would like to share the characteristics of my friends. Well me i have a friend that is ready to help in times of problem in your life, and he is my best friend. Since we are in a Kinder in Elementarry we are always together and we are classmate until we graduate from Elementary. This my best friend is always there to make you laugh and i can say that he is true to his self. He show his true characteristic in order for other people to like him, and not only to like him but also to be friend with them. Here in our country in the Philippines, there is so many good people that causes for the people of our country to be popular to other tourist. Some other tourist love the Filipino people because of the reason, they are really kind, hospitable and caring. That's why many tourist visit our place, that's why if you were looking for a good friend just try a Filipino people. . . In a friend, i look for someone i have alot in common with. They must have a sense of humour 'cause I make jokes all of the time, and smile and be generally nice. I do not like people who are 2-faced or ignorant. I like people who are themselves, not trying to be someone they are not. That really annoys me, why should anyone be someone they are not to be a friend, it's not a true relationship if you ask me. I like friends who I can trust, if I told them something that was private I wouldn't want them to go and tell everyone what I had said (believe me, I know tonnes of people like that). I like people who have the same taste in music, and if I was having a bad hair day/my clothes didn't look good together, I would want them to be honest with me and tell me so I could go home and get changed. I like clever people and not-so-clever people, as long as they don't try to be stupid to get attension, that really bugs me. to sum up - they must laugh at my stupid, witty jokes, not be 2-faced or ignorant, be honest and trusting, have something in common with me and not be up-themselves.

Basicly people who have good fashion sence and music! And if there friendly and if they live close!

I definitely look for people I have a lot in common with. I enjoy having friends that have a lot of similar interests as I do. People who enjoy the same activities I enjoy. It's a lot easier to talk to someone when you enjoy many of the same things!

Hi Gemma! I'm with you! I look for people that I can have a great time with! I like to laugh alot too! And people always tell me that I'm funny too! I am always making my friends laugh! And I like to be with people who make me laugh! I don't like to be around people that are always serious! Life is about having fun!

obviously a friend should be trustworthy and well hearted.the one who has faith in u and always ready to help you.finally i want to say that these are something which are expected in a friend but i don't think friendship needs any criteria to be fulfilled....because it's devine gift.

My friend has to be generous, kind and good to communicate with and also understands me and is there for me when I need a friend.

I look for a friend who i can trust, and they have to be kind, never let you down, reliable, and everything good what you need in a friend really :)
