My friend used to be obese and I have always been thin. We have been best friends for 14 years, but over the last year or so he slimmed down a lot and now we have almost switched places. Now he is soo confident tat it is a little annoying. How did this happen? How do I deal with this?

Well, first of all, be happy for your friend.. And of course stuff like this would happen all the time... Things change in life.. we do not always remain the same.. Your friend became thinner and you put on a bit weight!! Whats the BIG deal?? if he can lose weight, then so can you.. Take his example and build up some will-power to enable you to lose weight as well..
Once you both are thin, then both can enjoy.. And ignore his confidence... just be happy for himself and some something about yourself!!

well, if your friend has been obese most of his life(or even quite a while), it probably is a big change for him to be thin(again). he probably feels like a new person and feels much better about himself, and probably has a lot more energy, as well. if it is bothering you a lot, you should talk to him. tell him you're proud of him for losing the weight and happy he has reached a goal he feels good about, but that his confidence is coming off as a bit cocky, and it's a begun to become a turn-off. he may not realize it. i'm sure he doesn't mean to appear that way...it's just a great feeling when you can actually feel good about yourself for once.
