i have sold some stuff on etsy and i like to go on there to get ideas that i can use for crafts for friends and family. i look at the website several times per day and sometimes i see something that sparks an idea. i dont copy the craft exactly, i usually put some sort of different spin on it.

I like to visit it alot too. I have a friend that sells there. I Like to get new ideas also. I am learning to do wirewrapping.

I like both etsy and e-bay for buying and selling. Right now I'm buying some jewelry findings on etsy.

I like to visit it but havent bought anything from there. I do see that the sellers ask a bit more in most cases than they might get for things on Ebay. I am sure this is because it is more of a specialty, so I would think it is better for the seller.
I tend to shop Ebay more than Etsy, mostly because I usually buy supplies more than the finished product.

I love Etsy. Many things there are lovely. I have a shop there selling jewelry. Making handmade jewelry is my hobby.

I love looking through Etsy at all the things that people make. I have never bought anything there but I have considered it many times. I think that if I had a few more dollars in the bank I would definatley shop there. I think the site is a great one.

unfortunatly I'm trying to make money rather than spend it these days ;0)
Though I've thought about opening an Etsy shop but I don't know that I'd be able to make enough invenotory to bother.

I sell my handmade jewelry there, but I'm also a buyer. I've purchased cards, soap and other handmade bath & beauty products (and there are many awesome sellers for bath & beauty on Etsy!) handbags. I also support some of the local Etsy members when I see them at craft shows.
I find when I buy someone a gift from the store, people say thank you, but when I buy someone a handmade item as a gift, they tend to much more excited...so i try to buy a lot online too.
What show did you see about Etsy? The site has been getting a lot of positive press in the media recently.

The show was CBS Sunday morning. It was very good. There was a guy that sells handmade clothes. I agree Etsy is getting very popular.Thanks!

I love looking at etsy stuff especially the unique ones, i would like to have a shop in the future there too.
