Pures vs. Regular?

I pick a 3rd option! Skillers! Skillers are players that focus only on non-combat related skills. I currently have one and love it more than I ever did my main.

People can do whatever they choose, but personally, I think that training up as a pure is a total waste of time. Let's take Strength, (a large percentage of the people who are pures have strength as their main stat), as an example. If you trained Strength, sure, you would hit for astounding amounts of damage, but not very often, and would be sliced through like butter (or any other spreads for that matter). Balance is the key to life as much as it is the key to Runescape. I might work on one skill, (defence it is at the moment), but eventually all my skills come, more or less, back into line.

Well if your foolish enough to use a pure ( makes praying against you real easy ) then you'll want the maximum you can get & still be able to enter that cave. That way chances are your the strongest in there but if you go any higher you'll be the weakest in the next cave. BTW, bounty hunter is currently shut down so there's absolutely no reason to even make a pure any more.

I do not like pures. People have no life, personally, if they have time to make a pure.

hey, if youre playing bounty hunter, best to be a PURE. because you go into a lower level crater but you can hit more than 13 (just and example i don't think you can do that much damage with level 3 ) then you can kill good even if youre low combat. and it depends of which skill you be a pure. pure mage? range? or strength! ranged i suggest you don't. because theres no hiding place to be a turret. best to be mage and strength. mage you can have shoots that be effective on armoured players (cuz melee players will always wear rune to go inside and trying to get 200k after 10 target killed ) they will think : 200k can replace the armour i risked when i die. so mage will be good choice. strength you can hit on some peahead rangers. because weapons like swords are very effective to ranged armour like studded and dragonhide. hope you can listen to my hints. i gathered lots of facts from offical runescape supporting websites. =D =] =] =] =]

Strength/Attack pures are easy pickings. I don't understand why there are so many. Tank rangers and mages are different though. They can still be pretty tough.
