Yay! brownies and everything I have yet to figure out how all my sons got so darned old when I am still so young!

I got to hug four people, twice! My son, my daughter-in-law whose birthday it was yesterday, and my two granddaughters. I treated them all to a pizza meal this evening, after visiting for this afternoon and giving my DIL her birthday card and gift. After the pizza, we played a couple of music quiz games, which were fun, so all in all, yes, I had a great day! Am glad you did too. Brightest Blessings my friend and thank you for the brownies. After those, I'll hug anybody!!! Whose first?? he he.

It always makes everything so much better when we get to see our children! Does he live fairly close to you? Mine are both 1800 miles away but I talk with them at least once a week. I'm so glad you got to see him!

Hi Rosekitty! I'm so happy that you had a nice time with your family! It's so nice that you have all those children and grands to spend time with! I kind of sometimes wish I had some too! But, the I remember why I don't and I am ok with it! I still have my babies Star & Luna to keep me company and love me all the time! In fact, Luna is on my lap right now making it really difficult for me to type over him because he is kind of blocking the keysboard and doesn't seem to care as long as he is in Mommy's lap! you are 21 and your son is 31 yes I would say you are a happy camper alright lol I think that expression did come about because of the way you said, getting away from it all as such, I am glad you enjoyed yourself.

I have no idea where that saying came from. I always wondered though. That is really amazing having a 31 year old son when you are only 21.
