If you're anything like me you probably have a wide variety of interests - right? So, what is it that you do best? I like to think that I'm good at giving great advice to others. They don't always agree with me, but that's okay. I'm also an excellent reader. I st about learning how to read with determination when I was a child, and it has never failed me. I remember back in school when we were sometimes called upon to read aloud in class. Some kids were always embarrassed because they couldn't read well, but I made sure that never happened to me. I used to be an excellent cook, but I think my skills have grown rusty due to disuse lately. Last of all I am a fairly good writer(if I could just stay focused)! Your turn.

Ok, if I have to keep it clean I will but only for this discussion..lol I have to agree with you about your writings. Very informative and interesting. What do I do best? My answer would be nothing. I am great at doing nothing but being lazy as I age. My best trait is my personality so I would have to say giving advice to others when they ask, telling jokes or telling true stories that only can happen to me. I do have one of those faces where strangers love to tell me their life story in less than 5 minutes whether I ask or not. Most of the time I don't ask! Being a very caring and sharing mom is a big part of me. And now a chance to be a caring grandma. Across the miles sometimes is difficult but I still give it my all. I genuinely love life and people and it shows.

Thanks, Worldwise. I wouldn't consider myself a fantastic mother but am caring and listen to our kids no matter when they call. Even as adults, I am there if they need anything. I am good to my friends but they are good to me too so it works both ways. Thanks for giving me the best response. I really appreciate it.

I am a good reader. I read quickly and remember most of what I have read. I a fairly good cross stitcher although my backs aren't as clean as they should be. I think I am a good movie reviewer. And I would say that I am a good biology instructor.

I would say I am a good friend! I will over my love, heart and support but am also honest and won't be just a yes man. I love to read and I love being a Mum (most of the time) and I must be doing something right as both my kids are polite (outside of the house at any rate), well spoken and very bright. I also love to read and am quite good at quizzes and sudoko! lol xxx

LOL I think I like it cos it challenged me and then I get to the really difficult ones and end up sulking cos I am too challenged! lol There is no substitute for reading is there? I think I brainwashed my kids as they were always surrounded by books but I am not ashamed of that at all! xxx

I have the ability to SEE things and people come to me for advice but, THEY DON'T LISTEN or heed any warnings! Every single thing I say will come to pass, so I don't know why they won't listen, even though they come to me, I don't go to them! After many, many years of having to PROVE myself to people, some are finally listening and believeing what I say, while some still will not listen! Just last Saturday I told my friend to put their puppy back in it's pen because it WILL get hit by a car and die very, very soon if she doesn't do it! She didn't listen and it was hit and killed 20 minutes later! (She said she told her 10 year old grandson to go and do it and of course he didn't)! Kids don't listen now days! I told HER to do it, not the grand kid! (I KNOW she didn't tell him to do it)! I can also tell a lie when I hear it! It is all HER fault, but she blames him! See what I mean? Nobody listens to me and now an innocent puppy had to pay with it's life because of their stupidity and ignorance to listen and believe! She is one of the people I have had to prove myself to over and over and over again! 13 years of this crap! She should know by now that I know what I am talking about, yet she is still in denial! It's like she CAN NOT believe in what I say. I'm begining to think it has something to do with her religious beliefs

I have a lot of interests, but the one I do best I think it's hardly to say, maybe it's the faculty of my memory. I can still remember the texts I have learnt in primary school,I can recite many chinese classical poetry till now,and I never forgot them. That's the thing I can do best, I think. Oh,there is another thing.I think I'm also good at ancient history,I love ancient culture.

I love to be there to support people because I haven't ever had anyone who has ever fully supported me. I love to listen to peoples problems and help them deal with it and then make them laugh about it and be happy again. I try to be very supportive all the time and never to just look someone over because that has happened to me and if I can make someone elses day a little better than that makes my day a little better. So to answer your question without rambling too much i would say that at best i am a very supportive friend and i am proud of that. =]

Hmm. What I do -best-? I like to think that, if any skill I do particularly well...it'd be writing. Stories, books, specifically, not so much other things. I'm good at handling crisis situations. Stuff that requires quick-thinking. But since this is mostly instinct and intuitive, I'm not sure I can fully take credit for that. Um. People call me "Little Miss Do-Little" because I'm good with animals (they just tend to like me)...but again, I'm not sure if I can take credit for that, 'cause it's not a concious thing. xD I'm a good cook. An OK sketch-artist, I'm OK and building things with my hands. I used to be great at sewing, but I've grown rusty with that. I'm good at rsearching things. I'm a quick-learner. I'm great at reading, not just comprehension, but reading speed as well (this is one of the things I'm proud of). I'm okay at giving advice. My deductive skills (I was studying to be a private investigator, for a few years) are pretty good, too... Um...that's about it...OH! The last thing I can think of, is that I'm fairly good at reading people and ferreting out lies. Some call it uncanny, but I'm not as good as I'd like to be.

I'm good at organising events and people (which is a handy skill to have as Executive Assistant, where most of my job revolves around organising others). I'm a planner, and I tend to think of every possibility, so I have my lists going, and mark off everything as I go, which helps to make sure that everything that needs to be done gets done, and everything runs smoothly. Like you, the other thing that I'm good at is reading. Most of my spare time is spent reading anything and everything. I always make sure to carry at least one book with me where ever I go, so whenever I have a spare moment, I can cram some reading into that time.

I'm friendly and I understand people who are mostly misunderstood. I don't judge people just for their failures. I always give the benefit of the doubt. I still trust those, who for others can no longer be trusted. Thinking that it might be just by giving my trust to them will keep them trustworthy again. I do give positive advises to the best I can. I don't easily jump into negative conclusion that would increase the pain or would hurt more the person. I go for other alternatives that would shed light and lessen ones burden. I'm always ready to listen.
