signs that your period is coming

Do you have anything that tells you that your period is coming? When I was younger, I noticed that I suffered from diarrhea a day before I got my period. That stopped after a couple of years and now I know that I'd be getting my period when I start feeling acidic and I get a headache at the same time. Of course this also sounds like I'm just hungry...but not quite. I guess girls just know the difference.

Usually I get cramps in my pelvis and my back. It is a rather "heavy" feeling in these areas, kind of a dull ache to them. Also, I usually break out with some pimples on my chin. I really don't get moody myself, however I definitely crave chocolate just before it starts. I don't complain about it but can you imagine how men would be with this or the other things we women have to go through? I don't think they could handle it! Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

Sometimes I'll get this intense abdominal pain that makes me feel so nauseous I can't get out of bed, but this is rare. Most of the time I can just know. I'm pretty irregular, it's just how I am, but I tend to know a couple days in advance that it's coming anyway. Even though I can't predict a date. I don't get moody, though. Before or after. Sometimes I get the opposite of moody. People usually say that I'm making that part up, but I figure it must be a hormonal thing...since I'm so young. An imbalance or something. Normally though, my emotions carry on like normal and I'm just as rational as I usually am.

Since i got my first period at the age of twelve til now, i only notice two signs when monthly period is coming and these are one...having urinary incontinence which i really hate cause it will turn my moods unpleasant and i oblige myself to wear bikini liners which i don't like cause my skin in that part itch easily. I do household chores like washing clothes or house general cleaning. Until i don't feel so tired and sleepy , i won't stop cleaning... that is my second sign when my monthly period is near. Find it weird?

I know it is coming when my hooters begin to get a bit bigger and my head begins to hurt days before. I really don't get hungry and I don't have cramps, but my headaches and my hooters let's me know that the red cross is on it's way...........Great Day!!

I normally get extremely tired and have awful cramps. I usually do that two weeks before I start, but once I do, the cramps will go away. I've always had the irritability to go along with it also. After having my daughter, they haven't really got back on track, so it's really hard to tell when it's going to start. I atleast feel blessed that it never lasts long....two days top!

well before marriage and kids, I used to get terrible stomach pain before I get periods. But after having kids, luckily i don't have any pain or any symptoms before periods. It just comes on the 28th day after my previous period. thats it.

Things have changed over the years, I will second you on that. When i was in my teens, I used to get leg discomfort. I can't really call them leg cramps, it was nothing that severe, I was just uncomfortable. In my 20's, it was the whole bloating thing. Just another annoyance more than anything else. Now in my mid 30's it's actually worse than it's ever been. I get a headache about 2-3 days before that just does not quit. I'm still hoping to maybe find a natural remedy that does the trick. Ahhhh, the joys of being a woman.

Theres a few ways i can tell my periods are on the way, because I get reaaally moody, and emotional, like one minuite ill be happy and everything, then the next i end up crying or being really down. Also, i get bad headaches and tummy aches, but a hot water bottle soothes my tummy pains. I also get cravings for certain foods lol, and theres many more things but those are the most obvious.

hi oyenkai, my dear freind, after pregnancy for one whole year i didnt had any period, for the first forty to forty five days i had them continuosly but after that till my baby turned one i never had any and now this month i had it for the first time after delivery. now baby is of thirteen months. she she was born on twenty eighth of february and mine is twenty seventh. just after one day she came out. my period days use to be very very painful . when i use to go out to work , iuse to take leave every month and my senior use to know that i am having this period problem. i use to have severe pain . and before starting , i mean a one day before, i feel sever headache, mood swings, and then leg pain , stomach a little bloated and when the period starts, the bloated thing goes off in five six days but my pain in legs and stomach cramps use to stay , always. after pregnancy , now i dont have that severe pain, but mood swing was there and head ache that too a very bad one was also there.

The first sign for me would be diarrhea, too. A day or two before my period begins. Then, I easily get irritated by little things. That's my number two sign. And sometimes I suffer a slight headache.

If it's on time, then I would always feel terribly tired one or two days before that. Sometimes it's late; then I would have this bloated feeling in my stomach and backache!

Signs for me are, throwing up or almost throwing up, intense stomach pains, and moodiness. It comes down always three days after these systems at the max.
