Why will I hire you?

I used to manage a fairly large department at a community college so I was the one asking that question when interviewing applicants for open positions. I'll tell you what I was looking for. I wanted to hear about being a team player, about being dedicated to the job, about wanting to make a contribution to our organization, about being eager to learn new skills and about taking pride in a job well done. There's no one right answer to your question. They key is to be positive and confident when interviewed.

Because you need me. My skills and experience match the ones you require.

The one I heard the most asked in an interview is "Why should I hire You" and Tell me something about yourself and why you need this job? Every employment job is different I guess. Well, I would first steer them to what I can do and how good I am at it and my qualifications and I would also tell them how excited I would be to work there and how motivated I am to do a great job. If I had any problems I would let them know because sometimes not letting them know can be a handicap for you when they find out and then they will wonder what else is being swept under the rug..

you have to put your best foot foward, you say all the good things about you, your experience, you attitude towards work, how you can work well with the public or your coworkers, how you can work independently, how you are a team player etc.

This is another way of showing what's hidden capacity to help the which you're applying for. This is the interviewer's another way asking "how qualified are you in the position you're applying for". Well if you could elaborate well asset then I think you would have a big chance you would be accepted..AM i right then? Thanks

right on there are numbers of answers to this i've search some online and asked my friends too... you can answer this question directly like for example: "I fit the qualifications to your add and I believe I am competent enough to be on it" and so on... but the worst answer to it all but does add logic to is: "If you don't hire me, I will fire you.".... what an answer whew...

I think the confidence attitude will leave a good impression for the employer. You can say that you can be qualified with this job offer. And you can bring profit for the company. I love China

I think that I would answer it as follows : Sir or ma'am (depending on whom I am talking to)... I hope that you will hire me because I am dedicated to my work. I enjoy doing the job that I have applied for and I believe that I can do it sufficiently and to the best of my ability, which I hope will impress you. I understand customer satisfaction goes not just from the smile on an employees face but also in the way they are greeted and the way they are treated during our conversation. I hope that you will hire me but understand that you have to pick the best of the best. End of reason why I feel an employer should hire me. I put it in a generic way, maybe too showy but I felt that the way I wrote it covered all aspects of what I might be applying for. Myself, I'd apply for cashier, waitress, stocker, or cleaning as I've done all of those in the past.

I think it decides what kinds of work you apply,because every work has its own nature,however,I think why they hair me,because they need me to do some work that they can't do,or they need people to do work,or I have some more habit that some one don't have,that is all,there are many response you can find via internet.

First off I can tell you I hate those type of Questions. Because after job hunting all day you want to scream at them read the app. that is why you will hire me. But I just go for the old fake smile if I can and say. I enjoy coming to work and I'm a team player as if you need someting done I will do it. Even if it is not my job to do. It is very simple,because you need me,I am for you to create profits,I need this job,you can provide employment opportuities for me,this is a two-way choice!

just say as much positive points about yourself related to the company. the most basic points needed for candidates in any field are:- 1) self-motivated 2) good team player 3) fast learner so, at least you need to describe these 3 points, & even better if you could include many other positive points.

if i apply for sales positon.i will say:i am sure that if you hire me you will have a good co-worker and your company will have chance to improve profit cause i will try my best to reach work goal.trust me is the first thing,then it will be impoved by my effort
