Is failure something good or bad?

Failure is a common thing in our daily life. And even that it can be found in each corner of life. For instance, a doctor sometimes fails in an operation, a researcher sometimes fails in an experiment, an employee lose his or her job for a big mistake and a student fails the final examination, etc. Faced with failures, some people feel very frustrated and even lose heart. From then on, with the shade of failure covering their hearts, they cannot face up to any challenge; they just believe they will never achieve any success. So is failure something good or bad? What's your attitude towards failure? What kind of attitude shall we take towards faiure?

I see failure as something that is GOOD. Why? Because you have the chance to reflect on it. God doesn't give us something that we cannot face. He gives these things as lessons and for sure we can stand tall and face it. :) Be positive about the whole thing - for you can see its purpose.=D

I'm with you that failre is something good for us. Failure means we trid something but it did't work. And then we should something else. It is failure that tells us why we did't succeed and what we should do to correct our mistakes. Failure is just feedback! Failure is just lessons! Be positive to failure and you will succeed!

If you look at failure without any personal emotions, you will find that failure is just feedback!

generally speaking, everyone is trying to evade failures,so you can see it's bad to us and that's why we try to avoid failures.but on the contrary, failure can help us grow,if we learn lessons from our failures.then the failure will be good for us,so whether it's good or not only depends on how you see this and act after failure

It will send a cold shiver down our spines at the very thought of failure. Failure is the thing most of us spend the greatest amount of energy trying to avoid. No one likes failure, but it is really existing everywhere. And whether failure is good or bad only depends on our attitude towards it. Attitude is everything!

I would like to say failure is a good thing, and it can help us grow. Of course, I don't feel that way when I have to experience it, though! I do tell my daughters that we are not always perfect at everything we do, and I try to help them see a mistake as a chance to do it better next time. Yes, EVERYONE experiences failure at some time. To think that it won't happen is to be ignorant. I think we should try to find out why we failed and go from there.

I have to say that your post is really beneficial to me. Thank you very much! I'm strongly agree with you that failure makes us grow and be stronger than before! Most of us experience failures in our first try to do something new. We can say that failure is inevitable to everyone in the life. And I think that there are no mistakes, only lessons! Take the lessons from the failure you will succeed.

Sometimes failure is a blessing in disguise. You can learn from your past failures. You must experience several failures in order to succeed in life. Thomas Alva Edison has encountered scores of failures before finally suceeding in giving light to the world. Failures in life are great teachers.

Beautiful sentence that failure is a blessing in disguise! Failure is an inevitable stage to success.Thomas Edison encountered more than 5,000 times when he tried to invent the light bulb. But he was not defeated by the faiure and at last he succeeded. It is impossible to defeat a person who never give up! And Thomas Edison is that kind of person. And I believe that successful people never give up and the people who give up can never succeed!
