I think his decision was made purely out of the love of money and more money.I truly believe that he's a very talented boxer, in fact, the best pound for pound boxer in the world. But when it comes to making choices like on which management to choose like when he signed up for Golden Boy then jumped to Bob Arum, it's all for his benefit.
Now he's doing the same thing with GMA and ABS CBN. He's almost trying to jump out of GMA bec. he's got a good offer. and when the lawsuits were looming in, he got scared, and went back to GMA and started blaming ABS for his indecision. No matter how he explains it, this issue,is due to his growing want for money, the way i see it.
just wanna air it out.
But still i hope he wins versus Hatton.

Yes, it is about the money. It always is about the money for Manny. This is fine. Everybody wants to have money. He's just more greedy than most. But what I cannot accept is the fact that he is a liar. He said that it was ABS-CBN,through Dyan Castillejo, that approached him and asked him to move back to ABS-CBN as its media partner. Big lie! Don't ask how I know, I just do.
Frankly, I do not know if I still want him to win over Hatton. I just wish that he gets what he deserves. I am fervently praying for karma. And if he runs for congress again in 2010, I hope he loses again, both the position and the money for the elections.

hey what you said is true. it truly appears that he is lying, what seemed to be a beautiful sport is now tarnished with politics and money. i hope he wakes out of this sad occurence and just stay a hero right.

Regardless of what the reason is, i think he shouldn't have gotten a station in the first place. Not that im saying that's a bad deal or anything i just think it is still better that he shouldve sticked to what he do best, beating the s**t out of other people. We like it that way, well I do :)

yeah, i like it better when he was just a boxing hero (seeing him in rpn 9 or channel 13) and not a celebrity. i also like it that way not like now when we are forced to watch him host his show. it's kinda weird how he's become this celebrity.
