According to Director of a chinese media college, the responsibility of the media is to prevent people from going crazy when the society is in good mood, while it is in depress, not to let people cry to death. Are media aware of it?

In the past, US media's responsibility was to honestly report the news. FoxNews still does that for the most part. Nearly all other media outlets are liberal and tend to promote their liberal agenda. They also are largely responsible for getting their ultra-liberal candidate selected as US president. Today they spend most of their time promoting his socialistic policies.

the Media's role in the society had gone to a newer level compared to the last 20 years. Media had been the prime source of news in current events and other related and relevant occurrence in the country and as well as in the world. but Media, particularly the TV station are sometimes biased about the facts being brought to the public, and the non-stop rivalry between TV station for the survey to be on top.
