Ever felt you wanted to exist in a different time?

Well i have been watching movies and seen differences in time and culture and I guess I loved the victorian era where girls are conservative and wear those wonderful gowns and those wonderful gentlemen as well. When I watch those kind of movies sometimes I feel that I would have enjoyed it better if I lived during those times. I like the atmosphere they give, the simple things they enjoy to do even without the technology and stuff (not that i am against technology, i like technology) There was a movie I watched and one of my favorites which was Pride and Prejudice and I loved the theme of it. Guys courting girls and doing the effort etc. Well not only that movie but other movies as well involving Victorian eras, whenever i see a movie like that I get interested on it :D and would have loved to be part of it. Anyway do you ever think like that like there's a point in time that you think you would have enjoyed rather than the present? If there is what time would it be?

Yea. I want to live in Samurai time!! I am very into Japan culture and I would love to know what it's like to be a samurai (warrior). The katana (sword) they use is real cool and is known to be the sharpest sword in the world. I love the present too. The technology and facilities are wonderful.

I always felt like I belonged back in the mid 1800's. Even though they didn't have technology like computers and such, there was still a lot of stuff to keep a person busy. Even though times were busy, the daily life was somewhat simpler, you took time to enjoy your family because they weren't running off here and there as soon as supper's done lol. I loved the culture back then too. More people took time to read books, play games, and all...there wasn't any tv! It wouldn't bother me to have to take my horse everywhere, I grew up riding with my own horses, so I would have liked that for sure :-)

True! I definitely feel that way, i like the environment during the mid 1800's i love how they enjoy even the most simple stuff! It's great you got to ride horses as a hobby even now! During those times it's completely normal to ride those things :D
