THE END OF THIS WORLD! Is it that soon?

When we look at the world today with ecologically and social unrest.huger,climatic change,tensions in the middle east and the evr increasing population explosion.you tend to think....
In addition to it the Qoran and the Bible along with many ancient civilisation predicted the date of the world's end which happens to be in the period in which we all r living , In some its clearly mentioned to be around 2001-20012
here what they have predicted r similar but the method by which they explained is different.
1.NATURAL DISASTER: The increasing natural disasters such as earthquakes,volcanoes,tsunamis etc
2. WORLD WAR 3: world tensions increasing,wars n nuclear attacks. Generally these r involved in the middle east,asia and the USA
3.POLE SHIFT OF THE EARTH:changing magnetic alignment and causing the ice caps to melt and the worlds landscape to totally change causing billions of death
INTERESTINGLY many predictions of these happenings were made thousands of years ago and its a little spooky that they r starting to happen just as predicted.

Actually people have felt that the end of the world is at hand for the longest time - it just seems that bad things were happening then but worse things are happening now then we'd be surprised how far in the deep hole we can dig ourselves in until the right time comes - I guess by then we'd be screaming our lungs out for salvation.
