Whatever money is required for day to day expenses for a week I keep in cash and the rest is put in the bank savings deposit. Most of the payments above Rs.500 (approx. $12) is made by cheque. It is safer at Bank.

Yeah i agree with you. It's too risky to carry all that money around.

both. in my hands, it might get spent but in the bank, I can't spend it as easily

money - money in the bank better.
I like both but i would prefer my money int he bank because its not as east to lose.
