I am a stay at home mom in South Dakota. I am new to myLot and have so much to discuss that I'm not sure where to begin. I could tell so much about being a at home mom--the guilt, the stress, the fun, the total enjoyment. The reaction I've often received when I state I'm a stay at home mom is, "It must be nice" (please note a very sarcastic tone to this comment as they say it). The fact is that yes it is very nice, but I feel almost every mom could be a stay at home mom if she so chooses. It takes sacrifice and patience, but it is possible. I often think some working moms work because they know they couldn't handle being home all day with their children. I've stayed home for over 9 years now and wouldn't have it any other way.
