Which would you rather have: more money or more free time?

Try not to think about how having more money would allow you to work less, just if you had to pick between the two, which would be more important to you and why.

Right now at this time in my life I have more free time than I have ever had before. I am still working but it is more on my time frame, most of the time. I would definitely go for more money, not to buy me time but to allow me to do some wonderful things for my family and friends. I would love to be able to help my kids get out of debt and help them have a nice house and reliable car. Things are harder than they used to be, I think that money is more important now than it used to be.

Thank you so much for giving me a best response. I really appreciate it. This was a tough question and I had to think about it for awhile to give an honest answer. It seems very shallow to say, "I want more money." But in reality if you can make others lives easier it is a good thing.

I want more money because I am already good in managing my time. If I have money I can spend my time sharing it to other people. lol.

Personally it would be nice if I could have both, as then I would not have to choose, and then have more money to be able to spend during my Free time as well. But for me, I would have to say it would be nice to truly have more Free time, as lately it seems like I have been so busy that I do not have the time I need to get everything I need to done, and then other stuff as well.

Right now with my current financial issues, I would definately vote for more money. I can do without having free time right now if that would relieve me of the stress that I am having in regards to paying off some of the bills that I currently have. Once those bills are gone, than I could focus on having more free time, money or no money.

I think both are important. But if it really came to a camera finish, then I think money is what I'd rather have. This would enable me to grow the wealth even more and hence fulfill my and my families wish list better and fully. If I had free time, maybe still, I'd try and utilize that time to make more money rather than just idle away. Life's Lovely! Love & Live Life! Live & Let Live!

I do have to say this is a pretty tough one. I would have to say more free time. I would love to have every second of every day spent with my husband and children. There never seems to be enough free time. Money isnt a big nessastity for me. I have never had a bunch of money so I can survive with out more of it.

Unfortunately I lack the brain space to be able to keep the two apart. Where one is the other goes. If you have free time that means you have the means to have it. Or if you don't have free time that means money isn't there to supply that time away from work. I think it's human nature to want life to be full of 'time' with people we love and cherish. I would naturaly want to have the free time because technically speaking that would mean that money isn't an issue... Reality says though that if you want the free time you must sacrifice other things, This includes money. If having the free time means I'm sacrificing the money needed to live I'd have to choose money.
