the Brewers just placed their new closer, Trevor Hoffman, on the disabled list for his strained side. He will miss the first few games of the season. From what I've read so far, it looks like Carlos Villaneuva until Hoffman comes back. They also may use Dave Bush as the closer for the first game as it will be his day to pitch. Either way, at least this is happening at the beginning of the season when we need him most.
