Do you have a favorite news anchor?

I was wondering this because I do have a channel that I like to watch the news on but I have never really paid attention to the crew as far as names and such. Well..my b/f come through while I'm watching it and asks "So what's Bill saying?" I'm like..Who's Bill? LOL Then I realize he's talking about the news caster. I got a flash back from childhood and it was my grandfather asking my grandmother about what Margie Ison was saying about the weather. LOL..I remembered her name. So do you have a favorite and do you call them by name?

Ah....Now I can remember those days watching news. I think I have some but they have been engage in their own businesses. Try to look for a new one, Happy Mylotting.

Hi Jen. No, I can't say that I have a favorite news caster. I try to avoid watching the news as it's so d@mn depressing. 
My mom on the other hand had a favorite, or at least I think he was her favorite, when I was a teenager. His name was Stan Atkinson. She thought he was so handsome. As my parents were already divorced at this point I was tempted to write to him for her LOL, but I just never got around to it. Oh well, he got married a short time later, so it wouldn't have worked out anyway.

Well, now we have too many news channels as well as too many Anchors, so i really dont know their names and never cared about them. So in simple i dont have any Favourite anchor, specially newscaster.

Hstory repeating itself eh? I don't think I have a favourite one but as we come from a multi-racial country, we have news in 4 major languages - English, Malay, Chinese & Tamil!~
I personally love languages, I wonder why I'm not a linguist, haha!~

LOL! I did remember only one news anchor and that is Barkha Dutt. I can't find her these days because the cable people has cut the transmission for the news chanel in which she used to come and share the news.
Her attitude is what makes me a huge fan of her!

Do you remember the terrorist attack on Mumbai? It lasted for 60 hours and I was watching only NDTV 24X7 as she was only available there. Since then that chanel is out of my TV now.
I liked her voice but she isn't that beautiful as other news anchors are these days!

I can't say that I do. Most anchors are trained at the same schools and so there is little deviation on how they present the news. Besides, I really just watch to get the news information, I don't care much about the delivery as long as they don't mumble or something like that.

Me,too.But When any of my friends or my parents talks of some caster requently,I can recognize the caster.Generally,it's related to that person's fame or the taste of people surrounding me.I will not pay a perticular attention to the crew.What I am interested in is the things showing on the channel.In other words,maybe they are not so attactive to me~~And this will happen not only to the crew but also to the stars.I may know his or her face,but most time,I don't know the name.
