I just recently went to plug in my ipod to sync it. When i plugged it in, itunes froze and i could not access my desktop. i then ended the non responsive program. then i tried to open itunes. it took a while so i left and came back about half an hour later to find it still had not opened. i tried to click it again and left and came back half an hour later and it still had not opened. i decided to shut down the computer. now about fifteen minutes later the computer will not turn on and the ipod is frozen. Any ideas on how to fix this. this is the second time this happened last time i just had to shut down and it was fine. please help. Also I run Windows Vista home and the ipod is a standard 80 gb.

It would probably be a good idea to contact customer service at Apple. They may have seen problems similar to this before.
The fact that the computer will not turn on is suprising, and makes me think that the problem is not with the iPod, but with the computer. Maybe instead of calling Apple, you should call the maker of your computer so that they can send a repairman.

I would help you if I could, but I have problems with my own ipod. Right now it seems to be refusing to charge. I do not like having all the issues that I have with my ipod. It tends to drive me nuts. I just dont really supper like all the issues that I have with it. It is really bad when it shuts down and I cant use it.
