What will you do with a Death Note?

I and my husband are about to finish a cartoon series we are watching. I just love the story and I tend to be carried away. The title is DEATH NOTE. The story runs with some characters having a Death Note which is a black notebook that can kill a person once that person's name is written on it by the owner. One of the characters used it to kill criminals to make a better world to live in. But he was opposed by one character because it is not right to judge criminals on his own hands. The Death Note is owned by a death god who just dropped it on land so someone can pick and own it. If you have a Death Note what will you do with it? Will you also kill criminals? Will you want to be God?
