I have a thin layer of silica gel covering the keyboard of my laptops. It is very useful in preventing dust from falling inside. It is also water-proof. It cost me about $2. Do you have one and how much does it cost?

I didn't know before and never hear about the silica gel. Because all people in my place are using a paper to covering their notebook keyboard. But I'm very interesting with it and the cost isn't too expensive. But I doubt that I can find the silica gel in my place. Keep post Happy myLotting...

It is soft and can easily be twisted. It is definitely better than a paper.

I am having lot of dust i my Laptop key board and also some obstructive particles which are preventing the normal function of some keys and so far, i did not clean it.Can we open dis assemble and clean it ourselves? Is if difficult?

Sorry to say that I have no experience of disassembling the keyboard! but it's a good choice to cover the keyboard with a thin layer of silica gel.
