Got problem with my sleep...

i really want to sleep, mostly these days after finishing my reports but my insomia causing me trouble. it takes time before i fall to sleep and it only happened when i push myself to get tired. when i decided to lay down on my bed i fall asleep at 3 and i have to woke up at 4 coz i need to prepare for work that's why i have this headache and feel dizzy by a minute. i'm afraid to take sleeping pills because of its side effects and i dont think it's appropriate in my age. my friend advice me to take a shot of beer but i refuse to do it coz it'll lead me to be an alcoholic drinker. i prefer something beneficial; no side-effects yet effective. in my case, i dont have time to consult a doctor since the hospital from ours and my office is too far,. i'd prefer to read your advice maybe it would help me to cope with my sleeping problem. tnx guyz........

drink warm milk before going to sleep.. dont eat too much dinner.. have a warm bath. if you have a bathtub, put warm water on it then add chamomile or lavender oil. stay there for about 15 mins..
if that still doesnt work.. get a cd player, pick a relaxing music.. just pure classical and plain music (no voice), would help relax your mind...
free up your mind.. if you will keep on thinking, your brain wont rest..
