On life in general: Is planning ahead better than taking risks?

I admire those people who are very happy-go-lucky. They take whatever life gives them and make use of it to the best of their ability. Me, I make careful plans first before I can even enjoy life as it is. I may not be as wild and carefree as the rest of my friends are, but at least I can assure myself that the time I put on planning my life ahead is not wasted.
How about you? How do you face life--- with careful plans or with risks?

Hey there! I do plan. It is better to be prepared and organize than be miserable. Most of the people that have a happy-go-lucky and risks taker attitude has something or someone that they can depend on that's why they do such risky, careless, things and decisions. Nice topic! I plan ahead of the things or situations that are within my control. But with those things that are beyond my control, let go of it and let God. Just be ready for everything that will happen. Widen you understanding about everything and learn the lesson. Anyway, God will not put you in a situation that you can't handle. Have faith!
