What are mylot tasks ?

Hi every one, I have been inactive here since a long time.Well just now i read an alert regarding mylot alerts...Can any one explain me about it ?

Tasks are an extra way of earning here on myLot. They are not always available and can be found, when there are any, in the tab 'tasks' above this discussion. This is a discussion started by myLot to explain them better: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1944218.aspx?p=1
