When you sleep do you lie flat on your back or on your stomach? Do you lie on your right side or left side? I always sleep on my right side. Then at the middle of the night I transfer to sleeping on my left side. How about you?

I sometimes lay on my stomach when I have my period. I find that it relieves abdominal pain for me. :)

I normally fall asleep on my left side and I do moves a lot when I'm not sleep maybe because I'm trying to get comfortable with my position. And I'm not sure if I do the same when I'm already asleep.

On nights that I can't fall asleep fast, I also tend to change positions until I get the "right" one. :)

My position when sleeping varies but i notice that when i lay down in bed may back is usually on the bed but eventually i move to my right, i move on the left and whatever makes me comfortable while sleeping. At times i would even sleep on my stomach. I read before that how you sleep tells about your personality and your fears in life. I forgot though when and where I read that.

The most comfortable position for me is the "Star fish" - it's what the psychology article called it. I lay flat on my back and then have my arms stretched at each side of my head. It's sort of a very carefree manner of sleeping. Although I often have pains on my legs - it's because I'm too short and I need to exercise a lot to make sure that my legs are strong enough to support myself (I learned this when I saw how my mom have great leg pains even though she didn't stand up too long). When I have leg pains, I prefer to lay on my front and have me legs stretched downward - it feels good on the ankles :) Thanks for the response on my discussion!
