Do you think the mac computer(desktop computer and laptop) is expensive?

Recently, I pay some attention to mas computer since some of my colleagues appreciate the mac OS. Finding all the production of apple company is expensive, such as iphone, mac laptop and mac desktop computer.
Some people consider the mac laptop have a good brand and with a less cost performance. But another people consider there is a hign cost performance viewing as a whole even though the price is hign.
What do you think?

If we compare microsoft's windows to apple's mac, definitely, mac stands out in terms of quality as of now! There are no known virus that can penetrate mac's system but with only just one and i think thats the best thing with mac. As to window, its more flexible and common because it is almost use by everybody.

Macs are good but not as fantastic as Mac users sometimes say.
The software for the Mac is very good but also very expensive. Some of the programs have been exported to Windows format because of the bigger market, like Quark Express and Photoshop.
Macs had a big advantage in the early days with the Motorola chip but that advantage has now dropped away now that the Mac also uses Intel processors.
The Mac still has a lot of 'street cred' though!
