I will vote on 16th of April...that is the day when my constituency will go for polling. But sadly no candidates are there worth voting...I am a die hard supporter of BJP..and they have given ticket to a hopper..he hops better than a frog...his name is Bhola Prasad Singh, you name a party and he has been the member of that one.
RJD-LJP has given ticket to the wife of Surajbhan, the dreaded don, who is an MP from Balia but since he got life imprisonment so he is not eligible to contest...so despite being a humble woman she is pseudo candidate of a don...
Congress has given ticket to Sunita Devi...She is also a pseudo candidate as her husband is in jail for involving in a massacre..
My constituency is Nawada in Bihar...first time it has become a general seat after the delimitation....
but wait the hottest and most likely to win is the local don Akhilesh Singh...He is allegedly involved in scores of massacres and at present out on Bail...
All Candidates are Bhumihars...
It is hard to chose among them...and lets see what I do on the election day....
I hope that I will go against the wishes of my family and will vote for the corrupt BJP candidate

I think I would also vote on 7th May 2009.
I am not too sure who are the candidates from this place because I go for party rather than individual. I would vote for Congress this time. One of the reason why is because this time they are not with LJP and RJD. The other reasons I have discussed on PM discussion, didn't I?
Now, do Akhilesh be in jail for more than 3 years? You know what I mean?

This is the saddest part of it. Now, Indian Election says that party is everything and now I want that Congress must win but I can't help it because I know that this party will loose the election from my place. I don't know how to contribute my vote to Indian Govt.

Akhilesh Singh was in the Jail for full eight years. According to the Peoples Representative Act 1955, it should bar him....however, he has not been sentenced yet so he can contest election and he is...At this point of time he is supposed to win because other dons are not in open air to directly canvass and the strong caste sensitivities after the delimitation....
I think barring Aurangabad, voting congress in Bihar is of waste of vote..then they have not announce a candidate for your constituency...if it is Patliputra or Patna Sahib....

No parties here have announced there candidates except B.J.P on 5 seats. Political parties in Haryana seem to be following the tradition of pehle aap. The state will go in polls on may 7 and congress and INLD both are still waiting for other to announce the name before revealing there cards. As for my constituency Naveen Jindal is the obvious choice for Congress as he is sitting M.P and won with a huge margin of over 150000 votes last time around. Also he has done justice to those voted him and done lot of good work, and is one of the most honest and hard working M.P's in the present government. B.J.P is filing no candidates from there as they have to share 5-5 seats with INLD, and already announced there 5 candidates from other constituencies. Jindal is again likely to face the son of ex C.M chautala( INLD) whom he defeated last time. He is expected to face some stiff competition this time around but still have an edge, considering the work he has done. But i will still vote for INLD's candidate as Naveen Jindal being honest himself but still represent wrong party.

If I have been in Kurukshetra, I would vote for Navin Jindal. Chautala's sons whether, Abhay or Ajay, does not stand anywhere in comparison with him. It is right that he is with wrong party, but I never read any of his statement where he seems to support the wrong policies of Congress. He is just following the footsteps of his great father, who was also a member of Congress. And don't forget, he fought for us in the court for the amendment of the flag code and eventually won. He is the best candidate that I see from Haryana from any party, far much better than Chautala's sons, Bhajanlal's Kuldeep Vishnoi and the US educated Ranadeep Huda....

Congress won 9 out of ten seats here last time, still there is not a single representative in union cabinet from the state, whereas parties having 4-5 M.P's are having permanent place there. All the M.P's from the state should be equally responsible for that as much as the center govt. And this is one of the many reasons for not voting him.
